A HUGE thanks to Catherine, I was able to escape the Hutt Valley on my own for a night of knitting, wine, chocolate cake and lots of Yarn!
Michelle and Raven from Needle Food came and showed off their gorgeous range of yarns and colours for their first ever Yarn Party. I loved the colours and yes I have placed an order for some Merino worsted weight Eco Warrior for a hat and gloves set, some lollipop and periwinkle sock yarns and restrained myself with the gorgeous silk wool - This time at least!!! Go the Pukeko by night! Michelle also showed a new striped yarn she has been working on - so yellow and black one has been ordered by a number of us!
She refused to let slip any hints of the next sock club installment - sorry ladies!
It was a lovely evening and we sat up till 1am knitting and chatting! So not much sleep!
But I was lucky enough to get some great pics of the sunset! Almost award winning photos - I am very pleased with them!
