First Cricket Match

year

Ah Summer has arrive with the advent of Saturday morning cricket games. Josh had great fun with his first match. After an early 8.15am start, Andy came back to collect the girls (including Molly) and we all went back to watch, picnic rugs out. A very traditional kiwi saturday! Josh is playing in the midget league this year, which is still a softball relaxed and friendly game. They all get to field, bowl and bat at least two innings. Mum still has some way to understand the rules and scoring at this age! he just needs a bat - Santa list no doubt.

right best go get ready for matthew's 6th birthday party. I think we will forget Halloween this year, its not really celebrated here. The local church pushes a light party and it is also fireworks night tonight.

Molly has arrived

Molly has now arrived.

A very busy day getting used to her new family and home. Potty training started and success with number ones! She has had such a busy day being a puppy she fell asleep on zoe's lap and transfered to her bed no problems. Very cute........ She is 9 weeks old and apparently a cocker spaniel/ minature poodle cross, but one suspects more springer in there thats whats good for us!

Molly is coming.....

The big news is Molly is coming.......

All will be revealed in 24 hours.....

To celebrate our 11th Wedding anniversary (apparently thats a really long time according to Josh!), we took the opportunity of Blue sky to race up to the Kapiti coast to play on the beach! We got sand blasted, but loads of fresh sea air and fun! Fish and chip lunch followed by a play at Raumati South playground. Mummy and Daddy were big kids having races to see who could swing the highest - mummy won of course!

Sewing day

Started knitting another pair of socks for Andy this time, nearly at the toe of number one sock!
I also got the sewing machine out and finally finished my curtains off for the kitchen. I also had to make Henry bear a dress, modeled by Eddy bear! and a project bag from the scraps bag.
