Saffrons socks are done and catherines birthday present.

Saffrons pink heart socks are now finished using a vintage purls yarn. Catherine's green socks can now be published as she has had her birthday! So I don't have to keep it a secret!

Back to school

Well we are all back to school, the holidays whizzed by this year. India had her chair bag re-decorated by mum! India has gone into year 2 and Josh is now a senior in year 5. Saffron starts in May. Arghh..... she has grown too fast.

Summer Sock Club

1st February and the first installment of the Vintage Purls sock club, A lovely grey skein of sock yarn, pattern, glass beads to knit into the sock pattern, chocolate and notepad......... quiet funny as I am just knitting an adapted Wendy Johnson's heart pattern for saffron using a pink colour from vintage purls - Dolce. It was also Saffron's first day back at kindy today.... she went in her new dress, on her new bike, with new bag, lunch box and shades on...... Its her last full term and we have provisionally booked her leaving party for Monday 3rd May. Its going to come around far too quickly!

Home Again

Well it was a long journey back, after making a special stop to meet up with Department of Health man - other end sample for him....... He said he will let us know, good job as India was ill again the day after getting home, poor thing. Oh well a mountain of washing to do and cleaning all cooking items, airing outer tent, cleaning rabbits and guinea pig, collecting Molly, Pebbles and Thomas and oh yes, more washing!!!!
Back to school next week, best find Josh some new shoes!!! friday is turning into a manic day - cricket and swimming now!!!! chippie tea after I should think! Josh has decided to drop Karate but keep up the cubs. India wants horse riding lessons, ouch $50 a lesson. Saffron starts school in term 2 so all go. Plus a load of birthday invites over the coming weeks! busy busy term time again already!
