Catch-up' Josh's Birthday Pics

He had a great day, lots of money and airfix kits, tickets to Mumford and son concert and some CD's.  He then spent his money on even more airfix kits and put $150 towards the new 20guage shotgun Andy and Josh purchased today.  I see a father/Son skeet team in our future!

Last Friday Josh had two friends around for a sleep over and try the new indian resturaunt and takeaway in the village.   And to top it all off he has now got hairy armpits! Certainly growing up fast!

BTND (Better than Next Door) play at the Empire in Petone

A very wet and windy Wellington Saturday and what better way to spend it that in the pub watching Josh's band play a couple of songs!   Holiday by Green Day and another one the band wrote.  There were 3 other band too, all from Goodtime music academy.

New Rooms

For the first time, in erm must be their lives! India and Saffron have their own bedrooms!  Mum and dad also have a nice new room too!

and finally we have a working toilet downstairs again!

The plumber was in Friday and fitted the toilet, vanity and shower doors, just the shower taps and rose to go in next week.  We still have electrics and some painting touch up to do, but the curtain and flooring are in too.
So just electrics in the bedroom and we can move in!

More netball

An awesome game today, even if the Wild horses din't win, they have some really good play and passing.  India was doing a great job in centre, being everywhere and a great defence role.

The weather was great and dry, unlike the mid week where we had to cancel practice again!

Netball Saturday

A gorgeous sunny Saturday afternoon and we head to the courts, they had an awesome game winning 12-4.
Josh is off tramping with scouts this weekend, his mission to seek signs of volcanic activity !  Tongariro is having signs of unrest, early days but it has been rather sleepy for 115 year, so about time we had some excitment with volcanoes, after all NZ has kind of done earthquakes the last two years!
I am sure he will be having lots of fun on the 4 hr tramp to the hut, stay there overnight and then back home again tomorrow.

Snail pace

Progress is still being made, but at a snails pace.......  The curtains have now had to be postponed, as we are still waiting on decorator to finish wallpapering.  But the main feature wall is done and one of the other walls in the textured plain colour paper.

Saffron and JOsh have been practicing guitar today, and the chess set is out and the girls learning and Josh just getting caned (#3) by his mum!
