Revovation update

Its been slow progress, the decorators have been in sparodically and this is delaying some aspects.  We are also waiting on the flooring, still havn't got a date for that!  They money is flying out the door though!!!!
The roof replacement has also started in earnest, chimney goes today!  The bomb site continues!!!  The exterior is too damp to pain till the weather warms up. The weather has been cool clear days, and the gorgeous flowers are out, hence the sneaky photo at the bottom!

Holiday activities

Between the rain and a stack of DVD's we did have a crafty morning, making cheesy vegimite bread rools and rainbow ribbon bean bags.  A fortuatuse short supply of split peas led to a bike and scooter outing round to NW before it started to rain again!

Saffron was invested into Brownies tonight, hopefully I have the two videoas the right way round!

Dorian gig

Josh's school band (Dorian) played in their first official gig this afternoon at the Upper Hutt Cosie Club.  A few technical hitches with the singers speakers probably cost them a place in the final, but a great effort for their first gig.

My latest knits are too cute not to show off........

More progress, slow though

Progress appears to have slowed, but I am sure its due to all the knitty bitty work and details required.  The decking is in, the electrics, plumbing in, inspection done and pink batts in ready for gibb and plastering this week, followed by electrics final fit and toilet, shower etc.   So its getting close!!!

Some pics of the hall, and view from the deck on a lovely sunny afternoon, watching a pair of parakeets visiting the garden.  Other photos also include the very lovely Molly, Saffron on the tramp and India in her stars and stripes clothing!  India is also very pleased to announce she got player of the day at Netball this week, but Saffron's bounce pass while playing GS was a very cleaver pass!
