Happy Christmas
Happy Christmas everyone. The usual early start (a few 4am and 5am attempts were quickly quashed)!
A furry of Santa presents were opened with much delight by all, breakfast and then on to the family gifts under the tree. Saffron is torn between the guitar from Papa, Grandma and Uncle Jason and Michelle, the microphone, mp3 player and headphones from Santa, so is currently using all three. Josh is up to his ears in airfix kits, glue and paint! And loves the Bear Grylls scout knife from papa and Grandma. India is busy on her new scooter from papa, grandma, uncle Jason and Michelle and Aunt Chris, and all the great Sylvanians from Santa.
The Harry potter box set from nana and grandad is awaiting a back to back sitting!
Andy is proudly showing off his sucking Rabbits Guy Martin t-shirt, Zoe is happy with new Vinyl (Florence), bath salts, Incendies and Sarah's Kate dvd's and mosquito bands!

GNS Science Kids Christmas Party
Traddion has it that in the weeks leading up to Christmas GNS Science hold their annual kids party, full of face painting, rock walls, lolly scrambles, petting zoo, ice creams, sausage sizzle and Santa visits....... Fun was yet again had by all.... Josh played cricket and ate lots, the girls were loving the climbing wall, India making the most of the fact her EOTC visit from them had already been cancelled twice due to wet weather, and looks to be cancelled again next week if the forecast is right!
Josh Senior Year Camp
Josh has been on camp this last week, the final EOTC for the year 6's at Silverstream, before they head off to Intermediate school. He was away for 3 nights at an outdoor pursuit centre near Levin and looks to have had a great time, despite a wet start to the week. The had been in the river twice to clean off the mud, so apparently didn't need showers all week either. They all came back muddy, tired and with bags full of wet smelly clothes.... although strangely quiet a few pairs of underpants came back clean and unused!!!!!!!
